Black Simpsons
I'm not sure how I feel about this ad. Some are saying it's kind of racist or stereotypical of them to make a black version of the Simpsons. I just don't understand why color has to identify everything. I know it has always been this way and probably always will but that doesn't make it any better.
Yeah the Simpsons is going to Angola now. So what? Would they not have enjoyed the show as much if the characters where still drawn as their original white selves? I'm black and live in a very black area, I know its not quite Angola but I am open-minded and mature enough to enjoy shows that star whites, blacks, puerto-ricans or haitians. Especially cartoons. I mean come on, my favorite cartoon character is yellow!
If anything I don't like the fact that in the white picture they have lamps on end tables next to the couch. Why the black ones gotta have speakers and a beer can? What the hell? Why? Maybe its just a coincidence, but for some weird reason, I doubt it!

TaxiFab by Fabulyse featuring Forever21
Black and white is always in, and you can change up the accent color with the seasons. In spring pair up a classic black and white dress with a light pink cardy. During the winter, pair it up with tights, booties a red lip and a glam jacket for a holiday party. (Does anyone actually go to holiday parties? Because I've never been to one LOL) In summer, dress it down with a cute yellow flat sandal and over sized tote. In fall, throw on a burnt orange blazer with a cute (really high) wooden heel. You'll be so cute. Ahhh.....

How 1930's Citizens Thought Fashion Would Be in 2000
This video is too cute. Some of it hit the nail on the head. Although skirts have not completely disappeared (skirts and dresses are actually more popular now than they were a few years back) pants are acceptable for women to wear for almost any occasion. And the shoes she had on with the pants were very 2000. Very. The cut out wedge with two wide metallic straps? Yeah I'm pretty sure I would've rocked those around 2000 or so.
The dress that they made go from day to night just by adjusting the sleeves was pretty nifty. And do-able, wonder why that's not happening. At least in the business world. Being able to easily alter a business suit from day to night would also help you be able to wear it year round as well. People can't afford to be buying decent suits for every occasion. I'm glad I don't work a job where I'm required to wear a suit.
The dress with a transparent net is hilarious!! Very Madonna circa 1983 LMAO!! And the hair style of choice, not right. Not right at all. There was a lot of "transparent net" going on in the 70's and even a little in the 90's depending on what crowd you run with. LOL. Jamie Foxx used to wear those see-thru shirts towards the end of the Jamie Foxx show when he was finally started to feel sexy.
Then he goes on the say that the woman of tomorrow, OOH SWISH, will move at a scientifically controlled temperature.......is that called central air? LMAO!
The wedding dress. Horrid! Lmao. And they didn't mention what the groom would wear because they still wear the same damn thing. The tie width, the fit, and color may change, but overall its all the same.
And the dress that she can unzip and change was kewl too. My only thing is, if they had the materials to make all these things for this video, why didn't they just make it back then? I'm sure the 1930's woman would've enjoyed a convertible suit.
The man at the end with all the compartments and the telephone and radio attached to his chest was too funny. They said for men, there would be no shaving, color, ties or pockets. I don't think men's fashions will ever change that much. Men have gotten pretty daring with the leather and booty shorts in the 70's and the uber bagginess of the 90's/2000's. But as far as business wear, its all the same. He looks like a damn super hero robot. Its funny how back in the day everybody thought the world would be so machine like by the year 2000. Little did they know that in the 2000's we would be looking back to them for fashion inspiration!!

Real Hair, Good Hair and Everything in Between
My girl Tyra is the one who sparked my interest and made me wanna write this post. Via twitter she announced "Guess What! I'm rockin' my REAL hair on my talk show September 8th. No fake hair at all! Will be the hair coming out of my scalp! 4 all 2 C!" and then she went on to say "no ponytails, no ballet bun head. hair will be out and free!" This makes me wanna request off work so I can see it for myself! I know it will be pictured all over the 'net though so its okay. I am really excited to see this, I must admit. The only time I remember seeing Ty without weave was when she had those braids to the back with no hangtime. I think she was doing a show about homelessness and she pretended to be homeless for a day.

Flowers Save Lives by Fabulyse featuring Brian Atwood shoes
Some florals can be so 80's but in a good way. Fashion works in cycles, the cycles are coming around much faster these days. I think that has to do with the speed of today's technology. In past decades people didn't have access to looks from the past unless in was in a book or an old magazine. Now all we have to do is open our laptops or touch our iPhones and we can find instant inspiration for a new look. It could be a 70's inspired bob or and late 80's/early 90's inspired asymmetrical cut. I see fashions from the 20's to the 2000's being represented in some way on a daily basis.
Me, being a confessed girly girl, I really like the floral trend that is going on right now. I also love the tu-tu and lace rockeresque look thing that is happening.
Although florals are mostly appropriate in the Spring/Summer seasons, I think this can easily be transitioned into the fall. Just darken it up a little, add some jewel-toned accessories and you'll be fab. :) You can never go wrong with dark blues, purples, and greens. So cute. A nice bright suede pump or bootie will add the extra pop of color that we all need!

Amber Rose=Amber No's
Ikdy but I'm not really feeling Amber Rose. Am I alone in this? Don't get me wrong, her look is cool, at times, I mean she has nothing on Rihanna. Rihanna is my fav when it comes to style these days. I probably wont ever buy an album, but I do love the fact that she is just a walking runway on a daily basis. Did you know that her and Ciara share a stylist?? I read this on YBF is it true? I don't know if I believe it because Ciara has been know to be a HOT MESS from time to time LOL. She has gotten better tho. Maybe she was trying to create a new craze with this short cut like Ri-Ri did with the black bob. Not a success. At all. Sorry Ci-Ci. Hanging out with Kim K and La-La is a upgrade for her though, I must admit.
Wow, I'm supposed to be talking about Amber and I just went off in a totally different direction. I just get a golddiggerish vibe from her. I mean is she with Kanye for a reason?? Modeling maybe? Fame maybe? Press maybe??? Idk but I didn't know who the hell she was until she was walking down red carpets on Kanye's arm. Kanye needs to go back to the old days when he was dating real women (Delta's to be exact) "she's a Delta so she been throwing that dynasty sign"~Through the Wire
Then the blonde, baldness? I'm not a fan. It is different, striking even. But it struck me in the wrong manner though LOL. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against a nice shaved head. I think I just prefer it on women of the African American persuasion that's all. Some women look so pretty with a low cut, freshly arched eyebrows and big earrings. Even Solange's low cut has grown on me, but Solange can do that, Amber? Not so much.

Fabulyse Goes Vintage by Fabulyse featuring Christian Louboutin shoes
Okay, this is the last one I'm doing today, seriously!!
When I create my line its either going to be a wedding line or a vintage inspired line. I love the vintage, Victorian look. Ruffles, lace, tulle, chiffon, organza, velvet (again must be tasteful, can easily go from chic to tack). Avant-garde=Love! Then just add pearls, a classic red lip, and a little Chanel clutch and you're good to go. I'm liking designed tights, maybe just a line up the back of the leg for a more subtle approach or a full out lace tight/fishnet. Hair accessories are big these days too. Don't bust out the scrunchies ladies, I'm talking about head pieces, jeweled combs, headbands, floral pieces, even the headpieces with the mini tulle veils. To die for! Ugh.....I simply love this stuff!! Throw on some Jackie O or cat ear sunglasses and you're good to go :)

You look Fabulyse! by Fabulyse featuring Valentino shoes
Me personally, I am loving exposed zippers right now! It adds a little punk rock to my girly girl life. Also the more sequins/glitter the better....only if done tastefully, you can go from chic to tack very easily. And Ive loved these Valentino pumps everysince my girl Bey rocked them in obsessed. They added in the greatness where her acting lacked. Sorry Bey love you LOL. Also I think im going to be rocking little short gloves this fall/winter, mostly lacy ones, but the leather ones are cute too if the weather permits. And every girl needs a bowling bag. It can serve as a diaper bag for the milfs out there and a bag that all the kidless girls (like me thank god) can throw their crap in for the club. You know if its 5 of us girls going in the club together everybody throws there shit in one persons bag. We are only sober enough to keep up with one purse per crew. Thats the rule. Its even large enough to fit a change of clothes in for those "ladies of the night" lmao......Creating this look was fun. I may do this daily......Let me know what yall think!

If she can do it, I can....
http://omg.yahoo.com/blogs/goddess/nicole-richie-launches-maternity-line/262
First She by Sheree, and Closet Freak, I went to school for this stuff and I cant find anything to do with it. These hoes just have money so they can just get up and start fashion lines, that's frustrating. Nothing against any of these women, its just unfortunate that you don't need talent or education you just need money and contacts. Sheree don't sketch, sew or do anything but have "visions". Visions that somebody else puts on paper and sews for her, then she has fashions shows, with no garments. Lmao, what the hell. I would kill to have a line of my own, and if I ever got the opportunity to have them displayed in a show where people actually came to see my designs, best believe there would be some clothes there....Ugh. I'm done ranting and raving now....
