I have a new found love for Bey after seeing her live in Chicago July 17, 2009. Me and one of my BFs Charlie took the trip up to see her. I heard she isn't coming to St. Louis anymore because of that girl who got burnt at her last StL show. Thanks girl for ruining it all for everyone else. I'm only kidding :). Not really. I really enjoyed myself at this show. I dont think I have been to a concert since I went to see JayZ and 50-cent at Riverport with my ex like 6 years ago. And you know that show was nothing compared to Beyonce. Although Bey did make a suprise cameo at that concert to sing Bonnie and Clyde with her boo.
My favorite moments were of course the Single Ladies performance (I was waiting on that), the MJ tribute (touching), her floating in from the ceiling (get it bitch) and I enjoyed the flashback videos too.
Before she performed Single Ladies, she showed this video with clips of everyone (fans, other celebs, even Obama) doing the Single Ladies routine or the hand flick. Throughout the show she showed home videos from her childhood. One was her rapping and one was from when she was just coming home from a MJ concert. Mama Tina looked hella good! This led to her singing Halo for MJ. I am a big MJ fan so this part really touched me, I shed a lil tear. I did.
The whole show was fabulous! I expected nothing less, but it was soooooo good! She made some white boy damn near pee his pants when she sang to him. He was crying, he almost died. She has sooooo much power. And Im glad to be able to say that she uses it in a good way. No scandals or drama or naked pics from her or anything. Lol. Keep doing ya thing Bey, keep doing it.
I took some videos of her at the concert and until today I never looked at them. I thought they would be really crappy so I didn't really trip off of them. They came out pretty decent though, if I may say so myself. LOL I have about 5 or 6 videos, but it took so stinkin' long to upload this one that I'll have to wait until a later date to share the rest. :(
I also took plenty of pics. So many. I put them all in an album on facebook, I'm going to see if there is a way to attach the album.
I've seen Bey 3 times in concert, she is FAB! The last time I saw her was in STL and I was directly behind the girl who got burned!! I remember thinking, "Man, I wish that was me so Beyonce could have visited me at the hospital!" LOL!
